The goal of NCACA2011 is to provide a platform for researchers, academia and industry, to share their ideas, problems and findings related to various emerging research areas in Computer Science and Applications.

Federal Institute of Science And Technology (FISAT)^TM is a private Self Financing Engineering College, established in 2002, with the motto "Focus on Excellence" and the campus is christened as Hormis Nagar. It is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution, run by the Federal Bank Officers’ Association Educational Society (FBOAES), an initiative of Federal Bank Officers’ Association (FBOA). FISAT has embarked on an ambitious plan to enrich the quality and value of education and groom individuals to high quality professionals with social commitment.

FISAT is approved by AICTE and is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, offering 6 B.Tech programmes, 3 M.Tech programmes, in addition to MCA and MBA. The Placement and Training Cell of FISAT has succeeded in placing 90% of the eligible students in over 75 MNCs. The college is accredited by the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for placement activities. Student branches of IEEE, ISTE, CSI, and ISA are actively functioning in the college and have secured many national awards. Indigenously developed ‘Centre for High Performance Computing’ (CHPC) research lab is utilized for projects pertaining to technical, managerial and social environments, for its implementation, simulation and performance analysis.

The MCA programme was started in 2006. The Department has a competent and committed faculty team. Regular industrial visits and personality development programmes are conducted as part of the academic programme. Consistent high results in university examination including the First Rank in 2010 MCA examination are major achievements of the department. Many reputed MNCs have recruited our graduates in the placement drives.
